Makes: 1

Ingredients:

  • 350 gr Strong white flour
  • 10 gr Fresh yeast
  • 10 gr Sugar
  • 6 gr Salt
  • 130 ml Milk
  • 90 ml Water
  • 10 gr Butter
  • 1 tsp Runny honey

Method:

    Melt the butter

    Sift the flour into a large bowl, crumble the yeast into the flour
  • 3
    Add salt and sugar and mix all. Add water, milk and butter and mix
  • 4
    Transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic

    Leave to ferment for about 2 hours

    Split the dough into two and make the shape of two balls

    Oil a rectangular baking tin and place the two balls inside. Leave to prove for about 30 minutes

    In the meantime preheat the oven to 200C

    Bake for about 30 minutes

    Glazing: as soon as it is cooked brush the top with runny honey to give a shiny color
