Ingredients:

  • 450 gr Strawberries
  • 4 Meringues (make your own)
  • 2 tbsp Caster sugar
  • 400 gr Double cream
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  • 1
    Quarter the strawberries, place in a bowl with half of the sugar and lemon juice
  • 2
    Break the meringues into chucks
  • 3
    Whip the double cream with the sugar and a pinch of salt
  • 4
    In a large bowl mix the strawberries, cream and meringue or layer the strawberries, meringue and cream on serving glasses
